Meet Dr. Samela

Dr. Jillian Samela was born and raised in Muncie, Indiana, where she attended Delta High School. Dr. Samela received her undergraduate degree at St. Louis University.

She graduated from SLU with an honors degree in chemistry and was a member of the university’s swim team.

Dr. Samela warmly welcomes you to Greenwood Dental Smiles.

After completing her undergraduate education, Dr. Samela attended Indiana University School of Dentistry. She graduated from IU’s School of Dentistry in 2013 and immediately moved to Boston, Massachusetts, to begin her career in the field of private practice dentistry.

Practicing in Boston helped her learn and develop as a private practice dentist, where she also developed a passion for cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Samela has taken hours of continuing education to further her studies and sets goals each year to broaden her general dentistry knowledge. To date, she specializes in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, including Invisalign®, restoring dental implants, smile design and Botox®.

Dr. Samela believes that transforming a smile transforms the entire person. There is no greater joy than watching a patient improve their smile!

Outside of professional practice, Dr. Samela and her husband, Matt, have two children and a golden retriever.

Dr. Samela enjoys running and fitness, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.

Dr. Jillian Samela is excited to be back in the Midwest and looks forward to providing exceptional dental care to Greenwood and the surrounding areas and will build her forever dental home right here at Greenwood Dental Smiles!
